I've heard this quote a few times,in songs and from people, and it has stuck with me. I feel that it is simple,but has a lot of meaning.The way I interpret it is there is the truth which is what actually happened,that only God knows.Then there's my side which is what I took from the situation and decided to share.Lastly,there's your side which is what you took from the situation and decided to share.The overall meaning is when people tell a story it could possibly be a story and have very little truth to it,though this isn't always true.It is mainly true because someone often over-exaggerates the truth.Thus leaving very little truth,and twisted words.
So don't always buy into what others say because you never know
what part was made up or just twisted while relaying the message to you.
